Feels Like Home

Introducing a new feature: Journal.

An excuse to share the images that often end up hiding in digital folders and never see the light of day.

Today’s theme is casual snaps from around the house recently.

Experimenting with the light and playing around with self portraits, unbrushed hair and a rather uneven tan.

A half read stack, with some still to read.

Evening light through the curtains, something we seem to have an abundance of at the moment.

Decorations left over from the 4th, a little pride & patriotism.

My peace lily, now two months old and still going strong.

A kind gift of a fine fragrance, saved for burning on a special day.

Beautiful flowers from wonderful friends, front and centre, to make me smile whenever I come in the door.

Our musical corner.

My work station, as coffee fuelled as ever, and a notebook full of secrets.

I like the idea behind this – can’t wait to see more! 🙂

  • I’m loving the warm light in all these photos! I’m glad that this new series has allowed us to see all these snaps, and I’m looking forward to more! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

  • These are all beautiful photos! I love shots like this. Ones that aren’t always of something in particular, but are more so a representation of a passing moment. Can’t wait to see more of this series!

  • So obsessed with this photography, makes me feel very happy 🙂

  • I love this new feature! And your photos are so beautiful! x

  • This is such a great idea for a feature so that otherwise unseen images can be shared. I particularly like the photo of your stack of books, it’s left me guessing which ones are read and which are still to be read!

  • I love this idea! We have all become a little “is this Instagram worthy” obsessed, and I actually miss the old days of random shots and candid photos. I also whole heartedly approve of that giant stack of unfinished books, I myself have a constant stack I’m trying to get through, and yet, I continue to buy more books lol.

  • Beautiful photos! It’s great to see some snippets from your home x
