Things Making Me Smile

We made it through another week! It’s time to share a few things that have been making me smile this week:

* A little bit of sunshine and the prospect of putting away the wooly jumpers sooner rather than later.

* Daylight at 7pm, hinting that warm lighter evenings are on the way.

* The return of Grace & Frankie! One of my absolute favourites, with a new season having arrived this week.

* Finally being brave and setting up a public Facebook page to share my photography.

* Spending a day with the family all together for the first time in a few months.

* Blossom starting to appear, and filling the streets with light pink confetti.

* Spending some time out walking and taking pictures just for practise, sometimes it’s so good to work on your skills without working on anything in particular.

* Nights on the sofa curled up with a snoozing pup.

What’s been making you smile this week?

  • Congratulations on starting a Facebook page for your photography! That is a really nerve-wracking thing to do; people always recommend making one for my blog, but I’m just too nervous! Hopefully one day I’ll get there.

  • Ooh these are lovely little moments Carrie. I am with you on the sheer joy that we have light at 7pm – it makes me happy and also makes my blog V happy and I no longer have photography woes haha! I am also loving the blossom, hot cross buns, Sunday baking and taking up more yoga classes! Immy x

  • Lovely little moments. Sometimes I forget to realize the small moments that make life so good.

  • Definitely spending time walking and taking pictures for practice. Also, warm bed nests, coffee, and morning light.

  • Hey, Carrie! This is a nice post. I’ve been reading and reading and reading this week and I loved every second of it. I wish I live in the area where I’d take pictures at night (I need practicing as well) but there’s nothing to take pictures of here ah I want to live in London x

  • I’m so happy that its finally still light at 7pm – makes me feel so much happier!
