A little while ago I was very kindly invited along to an evening of crafting with some of the lovely ladies of Posh Totty. If you haven’t heard of them before, they are the sweetest gift shop you might ever come across, specialising in handmade and personalised gift that you’ll fall in love with. With an extensive online catalogue and a Brighton storefront (and an additional seafront store in the summer!), they’ve turned their teeny tiny Bond Street store into a wonderful haven for crafting and workshops.
Over the summer, Posh Totty are opening their doors for a series of crafting workshops, complete with cocktails and cake! Myself and a few other lovely bloggers popped along for the evening to try out some macrame, just one of the many classes on offer.
We were made to feel right at home with cocktails and some delicious snacks and cake, which come included with the workshops. The little shop is cosy and the perfect atmosphere for a class. We all sat around a table in the middle and chatted away as we knotted and threaded.
Thanks to the expert instruction of our lovely teachers, we came away having created a hanging planter, mine was a turquoisey blue with copper beads, and I’m so proud of it! I had no idea I’d be able to make something so cool, let alone make it in one evening. Materials are included with the class, and so in a short session you come away with a finished item. Making something from nothing in such a short space of time is so satisfying!
The generous PT ladies sent us away with some beautiful gifts too, including this gorgeous Shibori Tie-Dyke Toe Bag, which is another crafting class you can take to make one yourself!
Another class is for string art, something I’m really looking forward to trying myself with this sweet little kit I was sent home with.
As well as crafting, Posh Totty are experts in creating the most beautiful and personal gifts. I’m head over heels in love with my personalised bracelet which was such a kind and generous gift!
Just when you thought the Posh Totty Team couldn’t get any more lovely, they’ve kindly given me a voucher to give away! Just leave a comment below with your favourite craft and your email address, and one winner will be picked at random! All I ask is that you’re local enough and available on one of the dates below to attend, as I wouldn’t want it to go to waste! Competition will run Monday 27th until the end of the day, Friday 1st July!
