A little while I shared my favourite sources of inspiration offline, the beauty of magazines and the joy of unplugging from the internet. Staying offline, however isn’t always possible, and so I thought in the interest of fairness I should share my current online reading list too!
I stand by my thoughts that the internet can very quickly prove overwhelming, and in searching for sources of inspiration we open ourselves out to a barrage and often overload of information. To keep things simple, I keep my current favourites in a bookmarks tab, and then can navigate straight to what I want to be reading without getting distracted by a thousand recipes, articles and cat pictures.
I am currently very much enjoying reading…
New Darlings– Gorgeous fashion and home inspiration from the cutest American couple
Me & Orla – Sara is an instagram genius and writes a blog filled with beautiful prose and delicately beautiful photography often taken on an iPhone. Worth an instagram follow too!
Reading my Tea Leaves – the newest to the list but an ever growing favourite, chronicling parenthood, style, home and life in NYC
The Private Life of a Girl – Minimal style, beauty and home, Sophie’s blog is an oasis of calm on the often very busy blogosphere
The Dainty Squid – Kaylah is a rainbow haired animal lover sharing her life, home and fashion, and one I adore reading
Kristen Merie & A Cup of Tea – a Tumblr blog filled with gorgeous New York snaps & lifestyle photography
Joy The Baker – the absolute queen of cake, and a lovely bit of lifestyle writing thrown in too
UnFancy – a minimal style blog and one that turned me onto the idea of capsule wardrobes
This is just a tiny selection of my online favourites – we are so lucky to have such a fabulous source of inspiration at our fingertips! What are your favourites to read at the moment?
