How Do You Take Your Tea?

It’s always a good time for tea.

First thing in the morning, a cup of Jasmine Green to wake slowly, sipping hot while I scroll through my newsfeeds and fill in my planner for the day. On summer days, enjoying the floral notes while the sunlight floods in through the gap in the curtains, mingling with the fresh air drifting through the open windows. A little burst of energy from the green leaves to start the day in a positive way.

Green and Fruit to brighten up during the day, or an Earl Grey to take a moment’s break.

An English brew, milk and a heaping spoon of sugar, for strength in times of need, to calm nerves and replenish after a difficult time.

In the evenings, hot spicy Chai brewed from a pan, enjoyed with friends around an open fire, telling stories and sharing moments.

Peppermint to relax and sooth, and Chamomile to ease concern and induce calm, and to rescue from the stresses of the day.

Whether luxurious loose leaves infused with beautiful dried petals, a steaming pot to share with others, or even the emergency packet stashed inside your handbag, it’s always a good time for tea.

How do you take yours?

  • Tea is the best thing in the world. I love how it can brighten your day with just one sip. I’ve just been loving the content you’ve been putting up lately, and this is another great display. I’d love for my blog to be a little bit more like you. Love, Eline | http://www.elinesreturnticket.blogspot.com

Oh my god this post is everything. I do absolutely love tea – it’s so much more than just a beverage. It can make you feel at home, calm you down, push you, wake you up, and so much more. Loved this post Carrie.

  • I’m starting to like herbal tea but I do love a good English breakfast brew 🙂

  • I love a good ol’ classic cuppa. But with decaf teabags. Can’t stand caffeine since I stopped drinking it in November of last year! Sometimes drink a little green tea, but not a massive fan of it.

There are some fruit teas in the cupboard for when I’m feeling rubbish as well!!

  • Bubble tea is my favourite but I’m not sure that that is the kind of tea you’re talking about ;P -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

  • My husband is a green tea fanatic- drinking multiple cups every day. As for myself, hot chai on cold days and breakfast style teas for a change of pace from coffee. There is a particular spice in some chai’s that I’m not a fan of, and I have no idea what it is, so I just stick with this one brand I know I like.

  • I’m so boring with my tea… I usually just drink plain green tea. Or if I can find it, white tea.
