A Bluebird Tea Co Christmas

You’ll know by now that I’m a big fan of the Bluebird Tea Co. A Brighton based brand, I first discovered them at a market quite a few years ago now and was hooked on their Strawberry Lemonade tea from the first sip. I later discovered their Gingerbread Chai, which has since become a festive staple in my house! Each year they seem to step it up a level, so today I’m showing a few of their fabulous Christmas releases for 2016.

Their classic Snowball tea is back for another season, a sweet blend of chocolate, coconut, marshmallows and black tea; wonderful when brewed as a cuppa and even better in a tea latte!

New in recently are some very exciting flavoured matchas. Wonderfully, they are created with rooibos tea and so are naturally caffeine free, meaning you can enjoy the benefits of matcha at any time of day without worrying about being kept up. My favourite is the Golden Matcha, a blend of turmeric and warming spices, a great little immune system boost to keep winter colds at bay! Brewed as a latte with frothy almond milk, it’s perfect before bed to warm you through on a chilly winter night,

My favourite festive release of the year comes in the form of Tea Christmas Crackers, a great gift for tea lovers to enjoy on Christmas morning, or to decorate your table in the run up to Christmas. Each contains a hat, a joke, and some festive tea!

Another lovely gift idea are their brew it yourself bottles, this year’s version if for Mulled Cider. Each filled with festive spices including real fruit pieces, you just need to fill it up with the cider of your choice, leave to brew or gently heat, and enjoy!

A new blend for this year comes in the form of Hey, Sugar Plum; filled with warming cinnamon spice and juicy berries makes this a perfect brew for a winter afternoon!

One more rather special release comes in the form of tea candles – two of my absolute favourite things combined into one! A collaboration with Lu Aromatherapy, these little tins feature vegan soy wax and are infused with real tea, and look as beautiful as they smell.
