A Life Update

sunday stories 2 (1 of 2)

Life has been a little busy around here lately. All being well (fingers crossed and touch wood), we’re right on the verge of moving house, which is very exciting and a little bit scary. A new house, a new town, a new job (for Loz); it’s all very new and a slightly strange, but we just can’t wait! Preparing to move means the house is a little bit all over the place, and combined with a lot of planning, organising and paperwork, writing and taking pictures has taken a bit of a backseat.

I’d forgotten quite how tiring the process can be, so I’m trying to take things slow and find breaks where I can to avoid exhausting myself before moving day has even arrived. I’ve had a few lovely afternoons catching up with friends over coffee and cake, and have been taking evenings to myself just to chill and get ready for the coming weeks. Sometimes all you need is the restorative power of a cup of tea, a magazine and a fresh coat of paint on your nails! I’m going to try and stay up to date on here but you’ll have to bear with me if posting slips, hopefully before long I’ll be updating you from our new place!

  • Good luck with the move!

  • Moving can be such a headache, but it’s always a chance to purge and refresh! Good luck on yours…I’m right behind you in a couple of months. Lovely photos, by the way 🙂

Good luck with the move! It’s always super stressful but then definitely worth it in the end. Can’t wait to see how the new place looks like! 🙂

Good luck with your moving. It’s one of the best and yet most stressful experiences. Something about purging, cleaning, and a fresh start that is oddly cathartic.

  • Take your time and enjoy the moments! You’re experiencing some big changes and they will be over before you know it so sometimes it’s nice to get lost in it and just enjoy the good things. I’m in the middle of a few big things myself and I have to remind myself that even though it’s stressful, these changes mean success to me and I should enjoy the great things about them!
