3/52

I’ll start with an apology for quite how late this week’s post is. I haven’t been all that well which has meant my evenings have been spent snoozing on the sofa with all the intentions of getting my act together and catching up with online work, but in reality I’ve done very little. Sometimes rest is needed. But anyway, back to business:

15/365 – Getting ready for the week with a Monday morning diary catchup, and any excuse to show off my sparkly nails and ring combination.

16/365 – A slightly later start than usual purely to soak up morning daylight. We can’t be far away from waking up in the light and I couldn’t be more excited.

17/365 – An early bloom and hopefully another signifier that spring isn’t a million miles away. The camellia at our front door is always one of the first, and the bright pink is a welcome sight in an otherwise grey January.

18/365 – A grey wander through the streets of Brighton.

19/365 – A simple face for a Friday. I’ve been really enjoying wearing less makeup, and seem to have struck on a good combination of just 5 products that make me feel ready for the day.

20/365 – The last of the light.

21/365 – I ended my week with some much overdue repotting, and had to share a few of my most successful propagation babies. These were all grown from the leaves of other succulents, and I’m so happy with their progress.

Your nails are so beautiful! I hope you’re feeling better soon and rest well this weekend. The beach and those waves have me wishing I could be outside right now xx

Sending light & love your way,

    My Lovelier Days

  • Such beautiful pictures! Love the mood you set with all of them. Totally understandable that you needed some rest– we all need that break from time to time.
